Welcome to the first edition of Unitask Connections - your one-stop newsletter for keeping you connected with Oracle Applications as well as Unitask products, information and events.

In this Point of View section, I'll be commenting on topics, views and news that are relevant to the Oracle Applications professional. And for this first edition, I'd like to speak to you about giving yourself a holiday gift.

Oftentimes we hear from prospects that they have no time to learn about the products we offer. With deadlines looming and the holidays fast approaching, I'm sure they all wish they could find more time. More time to shop for that perfect holiday gift and perhaps most importantly, to spend time with friends and family. So this holiday season think about how you can give yourself the gift of time.

One place to start looking for extra time is at work. We all are very familiar with the Oracle E-Business Suite as witnessed by the long nights and weekends spent implementing and managing the environment. What you may not realize is that there are several third-party tools that can help reduce the time it takes you to perform these tasks. Consequently you can get things done faster and better at work and spend more time living your life. So my suggestion this holiday season, heck, call it a New Year's Resolution, is to carve out a little section of your week to look into solutions that can help you reduce time in the office so you have more to spend doing the things you want.
